Don't buy unflavoured

The unflavoured version tastes awful. Powder is a lot fluffier than the whey isolate or hydrolysed whey. Doesn't mix very well either.

Tasty

Bought the strawberry cream flavour and it taste nice! Smooth and easy to swallow. It does gave you and helps with your recovery well and thats coming from a first time user.

Goes Well With:

Water and Milk If you prefer heavier and creamy taste use milk or something light just use water.

Great Texture, Mixability and Effectiveness.

Order came 3 days later than projected, which isn't too bad actually. Very satisfied with the product, the powder is fluffier than that of the Impact Whey Isolate, and the mixability is perfect. No clumps at all. I ordered the Strawberry Cream, and tastewise, it is delicious, but could be a little on the sweet side for some people. Easy to digest, and in terms of effectiveness, it's working for me so far. 9/10 would recommend, with my only dislike being that it doesn't taste so good mixed with any cold liquid.

Goes Well With:

Room temperature water

Good

Ordered unflavoured, tastes as it should. Performance wise, quality wise id say its as good. even better than some of the other big(more expensive) brands such as ON. Overall, excellent product!

Goes Well With:

milk

Good Protein Blend

The order came a few days later than my projected period of a week or so after ordering, but nevertheless, it was still within the estimated period given by Myprotein.com. The protein powder mixes very well, and tastes relatively well.

Good enough

The protein shake made of this protein powder has a starch kind of texture, which is good because you will not feel too boring to drink alone. On the other hand, the protein powder is a bit too sweet for me.

Quality Sustained Release Protein Powder

Since the rise in popularity of sustained release protein powders, I have been slotting them in between meals due to their convenience and my hectic lifestyle. (Yes, I still adhere to the broscience of nutrients intake every 3-4 hours) Having emptied a 5kg bag of Myprotein Total Protein powder, I must compliment its efficacy in maintaining satiety as well as recovery from my workouts (having been through an intensification period). Right out of the bag, the blend of whey isolate, egg whites and milk protein powder seems 'fluffier' than typical sustained release protein blends which are denser. Not sure what difference this makes but I will need to be more gentle and careful during preparations due to the lighter texture. Mix-ability is comparable and I prefer lesser liquid for a thicker shake so it varies. Taste-wise, chocolate smooth was the flavour of choice and it suits my palate, delivering a nice refreshing hit whenever I shake up a chilled version. Zero issues with digestion and assimilation too as bloating and gas problems were non-existent. In terms of macro-nutrients breakdown, Total Protein delivers 'bang-for-your-calorie' amount of protein while keeping the calorie count low. (2 scoops @ 210kcal only!) To conclude, Myprotein Total Protein fulfills the under-rated job of triggering and sustaining protein synthesis during period of your day whereby shoving in another meal is inconvenient. Add on the value for money pricing (I buy mine by the 5kg bags), this blend is the go to option should you require supplementary protein meals to fit your hectic and active lifestyle.
Goes Well With:
Supplements any meal well to boost the protein content or on its own with a carb or fat source depending on your dietary targets.

Goes Well With:
I normally consume mine with a carb source such as fruit (when off-season) or a hand-ful of nuts (when going low-carb). Perfectly fine on its own too but it doesn't hurt to throw in a tablespoon of psyllium husk should you be consuming just a shake for its fibre content and satiety.
